Our Visit
Jason and I had a fun date night at The Whole Enchilada. It’s where I grew up going as a kid, and it was good then and it still is now. We both highly recommend going here if you are craving some authentic Mexican food.
Here are some reasons why we liked it:
- Fresh complimentary chips and salsa were served when seated.
- Their meal presentations are nicely done.
- Portion sizes are filling and delicious.
- The restaurant is clean and the decor feels warm and inviting.
- Our server was prompt and friendly throughout the dinner experience.
Details We Discovered
- We arrived around 7 pm on a Friday evening and were seated promptly.
- All of the other tables were occupied with people.
- The environment was lively but not loud.
- No loud music or television playing, so it’s easy for conversation.
- It wasn’t super cold inside, but I always suggest bringing a jacket.
- There’s a large aquarium at the front of the restaurant for entertainment.
- There’s no bar seating, but alcohol can be served at your table.
Additional Information
- If it’s your birthday and you’d like to be celebrated, the waiters will come out and sing a birthday song, while you get to wear an (optional) sombrero!
Final Thoughts
The Whole Enchilada is definitely a restaurant we will want to go back to again with our kids, and one we will recommend to others.
